Martin Frankel's Genealogy and Historical Research

The History of the Frankel Family from Urspringen, Lower Franconia is described in two volumes.

Volume 1 covers the five generation period from 1680 - 1850 where most of the narrative takes place in Urspringen.

Volume 2 covers the period from 1850 - 2000 where the family spread to the larger towns and cities of Germany and the pre-Holocaust period where families fled to wherever in the World they could find sanctuary.  This volume also describes the effort to trace the various lost branches of the original family.
